Murti pratishtha is a ritual invoking God in a murti by performing Vedic rites and chanting mantras. Murti pratishtha is performed on the day of the inauguration of a new mandir.

No parking is available on site.
Transportation arrangements have been made from the parking lot.
Shuttle service will be available to and from Shanti Mandir, 649 Jerseytown Rd, Danville, PA 17821
Varghodo will start at 12 PM
Special Features: Dhol-Nagara, Kalash Yatra, Prasad
Kalash will be available for $101 on June 7 (3-7 pm) and June 8 (8-11 am)

Important: NO PARKING available at the Shanti Mandir location
Designated Parking Location: Super 8 by Wyndham Danville
📍 35 Sheraton Road, Danville, PA 17821
Recommended Process: (Volunteers will be available at both locations for guidance)
1. Carpool when possible- Drop off passengers at the Shanti Mandir: 649 Jerseytown Road, Danville PA 17821
2. Driver drives and parks at 35 Sheraton Road
3. Take the shuttle back to the temple

🚌 FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE:
- Runs between Shanti Mandir and Super 8
- Every 15 minutes
- Shuttles will run Saturday: 1pm-10pm and Sunday: 7am - 5pm
Please plan extra time for parking and shuttle transportation.
We encourage carpooling to reduce traffic and to make parking easier for everyone.
